For some people, on the other hand, lighthouses and lighthouse history are incredibly important topics. And for that cohort, Lighthouse Digest is a veritable gold mine.
Lighthouse Digest describes itself as a magazine “devoted to preserving and sharing the history of lighthouses and those keepers who served at these historic structures.” The publications offers readers news, history and stories of lighthouses, and it is also committed to various lighthouse preservation projects.
The publication was founded in 1992 and counts subscribers in all 50 states (it also has readers in more than a dozen other countries).
